About Us

The Oklahoma Long-Term Care Partnership (OLTCP) program was developed to encourage more people to plan for their future needs. Our goal is to be a cost-effective resource for Oklahomans buying long-term care policies and the agents selling them.

Both the Oklahoma and U.S. governments support a program that:

• Gives incentives for you to insure against the costs of meeting your long-term care needs.

• Gives a way to qualify for SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid) without losing most of your assets.

• Gives counseling services to help you plan for your long-term care needs.

• Lets you control the decisions for your long-term care needs with a plan that includes other available resources.

The Oklahoma Health Care Authority and the Oklahoma Insurance Department encourage you to be informed about what you are buying, the exact level of benefits that are provided in your policies, and what assets may be protected.  Planning, preparation and prevention are keys to owning your future.
